Overmoulded connectors and distribution systems from CONEC are suitable for these special requirements. The customised design and internal wiring can be adapted to different customer requirements.
The overmoulding ensures IP protection right into the cable. No liquid can penetrate into the cable between the sheath and the core. Especially with short connections, the connected electronics and the plug connector are optimally protected against moisture or oil penetration by capillary action. Optional corrugated plastic conduits further increase the mechanical protection of the cable.
The overmoulding also provides protection against tampering, as the wires are not accessible and the connector cannot be dismantled, e.g. to set jumpers. This ensures tamper-proof monitoring of safety-relevant switching states. All cable harnesses are 100% tested.
CONEC offers a large portfolio of overmoulded connectors and distribution systems for the use in mobile automation. The overmoulded versions of the AT, ATM, DT, VSS Superseal, ISOBUS, CPC and HDSCS connector series developed by CONEC fulfil at least protection class IP67 (DT and Superseal connectors even IP67/IP69K). CONEC connectors for use in agricultural, construction or municipal technology thus guarantee trouble-free operation even in the most difficult areas of application, such as underground, at sub-zero temperatures or in dusty, hot environments.
CONEC agricultural and construction machinery connectors are used, for example, in the field of data transmission for camera signals or to ensure communication between tractors and implements or agricultural management software.
The ATM connector series is designed as a cable-to-cable connection. It locks securely and without tools via a latch. The series is not only used in agricultural, agricultural and vehicle technology, but also frequently in process automation and control technology. The series can be used in particular where limited installation space does not permit the use of other heavy equipment connectors.

VSS Superseal connectors are used in mobile automation to establish electrical connections between various components such as motors, control units, sensors and lighting systems. In the field of renewable energies, VSS Supserseal connectors can be used, for example, to connect individual solar panels. In the field of agricultural technology, VSS Superseal connectors are used to control the nozzles for fertiliser or pesticide application.
ISOBUS connectors facilitate the operation of modern implements with a high degree of automation by transferring a wide range of data between the tractor and implement. The CONEC junction system provides a flexible way to integrate moulded branches/outlets in electrical connection lines such as e.g. cable harnesses. This ensures that the continuous lead sheathing retains its full functional integrity even at the splice site (at the junction system). The junctionsystem is min. IP67-protected, electrically tested in the factory and thus offers a robust, tamper-proof way to electrify machines in a safe way. ThePUR moulding provides good resistance for applications in the agricultural industry.

Control lighting systems
CPC connectors are used in various application areas, including agricultural, agricultural and automotive technology as well as control cabinets, robotics, injection moulding machines and machine tools. These connectors are characterised by their robustness and differ from other heavy-duty connectors in the CONEC range due to their screw connection with positive locking. They are also smaller in size compared to Isobus connectors.
HDSCS (Heavy Duty Sealed Connector System) connectors are used via the HDSCS interface in heavy-duty transport, truck and trailer cabling. They control modern systems such as Ad-Blu tanks and pump systems, exhaust systems and rear lights.
Especially for municipal technology, the agricultural sector and the chemical industry, CONEC offers overmoulded M12x1 connector variants with coloured plastic coupling elements. In addition to the standard zinc die-cast or turned stainless steel versions, the plastic elements open up new fields of application. Typical examples of applications are dosing pumps for the treatment of drinking water, waste water and process water, dosing systems and disinfection systems for industrial use as well as applications in the agricultural sector.
M12 connectors with coloured union nuts allow additional visual colour coding. This prevents mismating and is a further advantage for quick connection of the connectors, as the slot and the connector are colour-coded, allowing the user to find them quickly.
The M12 series with bayonet locking is also suitable for use in mobile automation. Thanks to the bayonet quick-locking mechanism, the connector only needs to be turned ¼ turn to lock and locks noticeably into the mating part. It can be plugged or unplugged even when wearing gloves or in hard-to-reach places – for example, for light and camera control on tractors where the fitter has to work without visual contact. No additional tools are required and no torque has to be observed. By eliminating the thread with its rather fine structures, the risk of blockages due to dirt is less relevant.
